NAFTA COMPREHENSIVE WORD SEARCH
The NAFTA Comprehensive Word Search combines a U.S. Full Word Search, a Canada Comprehensive Word Search and a Mexico Comprehensive Word Search. The report contains an extract of the official records for each trademark in descending order of relevancy and a copy of the registration certificate or drawing page for each U.S. mark. Each extract includes an indication of the current status of the trademark and a full reproduction of the mark. This search is for text-based trademarks only.
For optimal search results, submit only one or two keywords. Longer phrases may be submitted, but in that event the search results will focus on word combinations rather than single instances of any word. When there are only one or two key words, the
results include a search of spelling variations, phonetic equivalents and, when relevant, individual word syllables. In any case, our search results always include similar marks, not merely exact matches.
Extracts from the records of the Canada Trademark Office will generally be in both English and French, with translations side-by-side. Extracts from the records of the Mexico Trademark Office may be primarily in Spanish.
This search report is available by email (in .PDF format), in hardcopy, or both, at your option. Hardcopy shipment within the U.S. is available by priority mail at no cost. Hardcopy shipment via Federal Express is available within the U.S. or internationally for an extra charge. All trademark research services are subject to our standard trademark search terms and conditions. |
